In last Thursday's article "Senate recognizes gymnastics, swimming as club sports," the reporter incorrectly stated that the Senate recognized gymnastics and swimming as club sports. However, the two were only recognized as student organizations.

In last Friday's article "URI offers new design for Web site," the reporter wrote that branding initiative costs amounted to $80,000. However, this was only the total for the first year of branding expenditures ('06-'07). Last year's costs came out to a total of $150,000, and this year, University Advancement has a paid media plan for about $400,000, with an additional $150,000 spent on continuing production and related costs associated with media buys and marketing materials.

In a column "Sully's Little Shortcuts" that was run last Friday, the columnist incorrectly stated that Parking Services must produce three warnings before it can tow a car parked illegally on campus. However, Parking Services does not need to place a warning on a car before towing it.

In yesterday's article "Co-founder of Ben & Jerry's dishes success story, dessert to URI students," the reporter incorrectly stated that ice cream would be sold on the Quadrangle yesterday. However, the Student Entertainment Committee will be selling ice cream on Monday, Sept. 29 (Sept. 30 is the rain date) from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
