04/02/08 - Last Tuesday morning my phone rang. This would be unremarkable except for the fact that the voice on the other end said four words which, when used together, form one of the most surreal and incredible sentences in the English language: "Hey, Bob Saget speaking."
04/02/08 - British Sea Power attempted to stage a comeback of sorts on its latest release, Do You Like Rock Music? after the disappointing Open Season, but it doesn't always work. British Sea Power's cerebral indie rock seems to have taken a turn on this album.
04/02/08 - With the removal of the exclamation point from its name and a newfound sound aping '60s pop hits, Panic at the Disco are back with their new album Pretty. Odd. 04/02/08 - Remember the crazy monsters that the Power Rangers fought? Imagine if those guys got together to form their own wrestling league. Take that and add a good amount of pop culture humor and parody, and you get the Kaiju Big Battel. Kaiju Big Battel: More Better Fighto Volume 1 was my first exposure to the wonderful world of Kaiju fighting and, as it's a very surreal and confusing world, I would have been lost without the book that was sent along with the DVD.
