03/27/08 - The University of Rhode Island baseball team fell to Northeastern University, 8-6, in a back and forth battle on Tuesday. The cold, blustery afternoon at Bill Beck field showcased four lead changes before Rhode Island eventually wound up on the short end of the stick for a fifth straight game.
03/27/08 - The University of Rhode Island women's tennis team enjoyed some sun and success during spring break, winning three of four matches in Florida last week. The Rams lost a close first match 4-3 against Flagler College but rebounded with three consecutive 7-0 sweeps against Tufts University, Bethune-Cookman Univeristy and Florida Community College.
