02/12/08 - Voting for the University of Rhode Island Student Senate candidates takes place today and tomorrow in the Memorial Union from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bring a photo ID. No pre-registration is required. The candidates are as follows:
College of Environment & Life Sciences:

College of Nursing:

College of Human Sciences & Services:

College of Engineering:
Jacob Holzman - Hello, my name is Jacob Holzman and I am running for the College of Engineering representative Senate seat. As the liaison between Senate and the college I will, to the best of my ability, open the lines of communication, advocate for the college's students and student groups when necessary, work for the interests and needs of engineering students and work proactively with the faculty and interested students. University College:
Steven Boiteau - My name is Steven Boiteau and I am running for a University College seat on the Student Senate. During high school I was a member of DECA, a business organization. I have done things such as plan events in our local chapter to attending national conferences all over the country. I look forward to working with the Senate this year. I would appreciate all of your votes today and tomorrow. Thank you.
Robert Stewart - Hello my name is Robert Stewart. I am running for University College representative for Student Senate this term. I was involved in student government in high school and would like to continue here at URI. At the moment I am a member of the Phi Gamma Delta and currently hold the position of Philanthropy Chair. I would love to serve the student body here at URI and would really appreciate your vote.

Vidhi Shah - Hi my name is Vidhi Shah, I am a sophomore here at URI and I have been on the Student Senate since the fall semester of my freshmen year and have enjoyed it since. I would love to be the College of Business representative and would greatly appreciate your vote. Thanks!
