Letter: Flag left in the dark

I don't mean to play the part of the overzealous patriot, but it seems that recently when University of Rhode Island officials went around campus evaluating our lighting, they missed a spot.
Since I have been here, I have yet to see our flag on the Quadrangle with a light shining on it at night.
All I'm trying to say is that if we are going to fly a flag, let's do it the right way.
