11/01/07 - Now that the candy-crazed festivities of Halloween have come and gone, it's time to turn your attention to another important holiday, Thanksgiving. November is full of opportunities for those of you who want to lend a helping hand and celebrate the season by giving back to your community. Whether you want to serve a traditional dinner or utilize your craft skills, there are agencies that could use your help. Below are just a few of the available opportunities.

Help repaint the school's recess area at 9 Beachmont Ave. in Cranston from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will be painting hopscotch, a U.S. map, and other things on the blacktop. No art skills necessary.
