06/13/09 - The research of a University of Rhode Island professor is paving the way for a future of biofuels and renewable energy on a local and national level. The Department of Energy recently granted $1.5 million to fund the research of Professor Albert Kausch, the director of the URI Plant and Biotechnology Laboratory.
06/13/09 - The Student Senate unanimously approved $25,000 to improve the University of Rhode Island's North Woods Challenge Course last night. The senators raised no questions about the amount of money being given to upgrade the course. The money to fund the upgrade will be taken from the Activities Tax fund.
