11/6/08 - Not all role models are created equal. Especially if they're court-ordered role models with a few major felonies under their belts. But, hey, sometimes that's what you get in a youth-outreach program run by a former crack-whore. The forthcoming film, "Role Models," out tomorrow, casts Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott as mid-life slackers who, after destroying school property in a bust-up (involving a cop and, among other things,m a truck with giant Minotaur horns) end up having to clock time at Sturdy Wings, a "Big Brothers-Big Sisters" type foundation, so they can stay out of jail.
11/6/08 - The bickering brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher of the English rock band Oasis are back with their seventh CD, Dig Out Your Soul. Don't Believe the Truth was the last album to be released from the band in 2005, and after their three-year hiatus, Dig Out Your Soul brings a decent, dark sound to the table with some funky album artwork to boot.
11/6/08 - The main lights were dimmed, but the stage lights blared and flash bulbs lit the arena while Jay Leno, the unmistakable grey-haired man with the protruding chin, dazzled the Ryan Center audience with joke after joke. On the first night of November, the University of Rhode Island's Student Entertainment Committee presented students and families with Leno.
