Spring Break
10/22/08 - Showing no signs of falter, the University of Rhode Island women's tennis team soundly defeated Monmouth last Sunday with a total score of 7-0. Despite temperatures hanging uncomfortably below 50 degrees and strong winds reaching speeds between five and 15 mph, the team proved the cold had no bite on them.
10/22/08 - The University of Rhode Island women's volleyball team dropped to 9-11 with its second straight loss. Xavier University came out of the gates on fire, winning all of the first six points. The Rams managed to work their way back into the game, getting the score as close as 15-14, in favor of Xavier.
10/22/08 - You would never know it if you watched her on the court, but University of Rhode Island women's volleyball captain Caitlyn Welsh has only been playing the game she excels in for a few years.
