11/29/07 - Until emo bands came along, rarely could a rock band make an album that was laced with complete monotonic efforts and have success at achieving attention from a crowd. Carnavas shows that the Silversun Pickups could potentially have shed some light on the dark and dreary folks of rock, and show the world that not everything is peachy and colorful.
11/29/07 - When I heard that the mid-90's R&B group Jagged Edge had a new CD out, one thing came to my mind: Middle school dances. Ah, the good old days of adorning myself in bright purple shimmer eye-shadow and a skin-tight spaghetti-strap tank top ... Dancing like a white girl in a small circle with all my fellow eighth-grade girlfriends.
11/29/07 - So I've been told that Rhode Island sucks and that New Jersey is where it's at. I agree that Rhode Island can be lame at times, but there is always something that pops up and spices up our little New England towns. In recent years the Ocean State is becoming more popular with movie executives as the first-choice location for films.
