10/18/07 - Class registration began this week for students. As freshmen grumble about late class registration times and seniors stress about finding that final class they need to graduate, a whole separate group automatically gets bumped to the front of the line.
10/18/07 - Islam is the submission of oneself to the will of Allah. The problem with that is, in fundamental terms (as subscribed to by Jihadists and fascists), the entirety of Islam was "revealed" to only one man: sixth century prophet (and warlord) Mohammed and no other.

10/18/07 - To the Cigar, Throughout the intense and captivating history of the United States of America, there have raged many conflicts against myriad enemies. In the revolution, we tested the might of the British Empire, and found it wanting; in the second World War, we defeated the Nazi war machine on its own ground and wrought unparalleled devastation upon the Japanese bushi as we danced from island to diminutive South Pacific island.
10/18/07 - To the Cigar, I have recently reviewed again one of the most instructive documentaries on Islam that I have ever seen. It goes into excruciating detail about the history and development of the religion with specific references to the Koran. In light of the upcoming "Islamo-fascist Awareness Week" being held at URI and many other schools across the country, I felt it was pertinent to write a brief letter to prepare people and beg of them an open mind if and when attending the events and speakers we will be hosting at the university.
10/18/07 - To the Cigar, When looking at the war in Iraq and the left's lack of response to the ideology which fuels it, Islamo-fascism, I am reminded of Edmund Burke's statement, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
