09/27/07 - The University of Rhode Island men's tennis team revenged a loss to Bryant College last season with a 6-1 victory over the Bulldogs at home yesterday. "This is a team that beat us last year, and they're even better this year," Rams coach Val Villucci said.

09/27/07 - American Hockey League team, the Providence Bruins hit the ice last night as they faced off against the Edmonton Oilers. Both teams played a strongly physical game, resulting in multiple fights during every period. After the second period the score was tied 3-3, but in the final period the Bruins ended the game with a winning score of 4-3.
