Hence it should be of little wonder as to why the Asian nation is the subject of this year's Honors Colloquium. In previous years, the Honors Program has featured sports and music as themes of the colloquia.
09/19/07 - I am a Republican while in college because I am concerned for my future. At a time when radical Islam has waged jihad upon us, when institutions that have ensured the continuation of society itself for the last 2,000 years are being attacked, and when many of our social programs are close to bankruptcy and insolvency, the Republican Party is the only party with the courage to identify these problems, and the wisdom to turn toward its people and away from its government to solve them.
09/19/07 - As you get into the swing of class schedules, assignments, syllabi, and exams, some questions may occur to you that relate to your academic success. Questions such as: How do I figure out when my exams are scheduled? What does it mean to be on academic probation? What do I need to do to graduate? How do I appeal a grade? What are the university's policies on cheating, plagiarism, attendance, exams, etc.
09/19/07 - To the Cigar, With 1,800 chapters and over 200,000 members nationwide, College Republicans are the most active and the largest student organization in the United States, successfully serving as the grassroots branch of the Republican Party while also bringing the conservative message to college campuses.
09/19/07 - To the Cigar, I'm not writing to the Cigar hoping to make a difference, to surprise anyone, or to magically better the parking situation on campus. However, I'm writing because I am irritated, and I'm sure most commuters will agree and nod their heads frequently while reading this.
09/19/07 - To the Cigar, Archbishop Desmond Tutu's statement that "poverty causes terror" indicates a complete disregard for reality. Poverty exists, for various reasons, in many areas of the world. Yet most of these people do not dedicate their lives to carrying out Jihad against the West.
