11/28/06 - Good old Compton: where guns reign supreme, gang banging is considered a hobby and crack is viable commodity. The Game shepherds us through this gun-slinging, low-riding, blood-spattered paradise on his new album, Doctor's Advocate. It's an enlightening journey full of complex emotional drama, epic battles, the effects of gang warfare and, wait for it: hoes! Innovative, this album is not.

Dancing to the music of Joel tells the story of five friends as they progress through two decades. The play was nominated for 10 Tony awards in 2003, winning for Twyla Tharp's choreography and the orchestration work of Joel and Stuart Malina.
