03/31/05 - Students at the University of Rhode Island can save money next semester by choosing to live in the A and B towers of Heathman Residence Hall as dormitory renovations continue into the fall. According to the university's housing website, students will save approximately $600 by choosing the one semester Heathman residence option.
03/31/05 - The University of Rhode Island Student Senate approved a bill to ask students for an $8 increase in the student activities tax at last night's meeting and swore in President Patrick Mills, Vice President Neil Cavanaugh and 13 new senators. After less than 30 minutes of debate, the senate approved a bill calling for a special referendum asking for the increase.
