12/03/04 - Faculty at the University of Rhode Island have begun debating whether to follow the actions of Harvard Law School and disallow military recruiters - and perhaps even the Army ROTC program located on campus - following a decision by a federal appeals court Monday.
12/03/04 - The University of Rhode Island Theatre Department performed the first show of the Disney musical production Beauty and the Beast last night to a packed Will Theatre in the Fine Arts Building.
12/03/04 - A standing room only crowd of more than 900 filled Edwards Auditorium last night to see Full House star Bob Saget perform a routine of vulgar and obscene comedy. "It's great to see we have a 'Full House' tonight. Sorry, I had to do it," Marianne Sierk, Saget's opening act, said.
12/03/04 - Don Kunz, professor of English and film studies at the University of Rhode Island, is retiring after 35 years of teaching. Kunz announced his plans of retirement and shared his comedic short story, Such A Deal, with a roomful of colleagues and students at yesterday's English Department Faculty Colloquium.
