Of course, you are correct, although tbe Thompson/Rodgers apologists will refuse to see/admit it. Being an effective quarterback has to do with a lot more than just piling up statistics. In the words of Al Davis, "Just win, baby." Winning is something that Rodgers seems unable to do AGAINST GOOD TEAMS. As a starter, his record now stands at 10 - 13...with the way that people praise him, you'd think that he was something like 23 - 0. Oh, his apologists will be quick to jump in with excuses...excuses which they stubbornly refuse to allow for Favre, due to their misplaced bias and blind allegiance. As anyone with two eyes clearly saw over the past few weeks, Rodgers is still Favre's understudy. How interesting to note that Favre was named offensive player of the week after both head-to-head contests against Rodgers. Such realities don't bode too well with Packers' faithful. Me? As a Favre fan, I'm having the time of my life. Go Brett, Go!
