The Student Senate will discuss the following topics at their meeting Wednesday night. The meeting will be held on the third floor of the Memorial Union in the Senate Chambers. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m.Public Forum:
Jennifer L. Berard - Blood Drive
Jerry Sidio - Adopt-a-Spot
Mary MacDougall - Presidential nominations

Finance:
Tax Apportionment transfer for "First Night" contingency fund.
Tax Apportionment grant for URI-TV for renovations.
Co-Sponsorship request for L.A.S.A.
Co-Sponsorship request for S.A.A. Ooze ball.

Special Orders:
Vote on presidential nominations. Swear in confirmed presidential nominations.

University of Rhode Island alum Devin Sheehan launched a new online menu and ordering site called Hungry Rhody last month. It's designed to make ordering food from the Kingston Emporium and the Memorial Union faster and easier for students. They can pick up the order whenever they want.

Speaker discusses use of robots in military

In the ninth installment of the University of Rhode Island's Forensic Science Seminar Series, David Audet, leader of Soldier Mobility and Mission Enhancement Team at the Natick Soldier Research Development and Engineering Center, spoke about how robots are used in the military, and how they can be used in the disaster response situations.

Recreational Services discusses additional student fees, new fitness and wellness center

The Student Senate discussed the results of the University of Rhode Island Recreational Service's survey on the addition of a student fee to aid in the building a new fitness and wellness center in the Roger Williams building.
